We’ve always believed there’s a lot more to being a good local estate agent than simply selling houses.
A big part of what we do here at Newberry Tully is to roll up our sleeves, put our hand in our pockets as much as we can and support the local community.
That’s why we’re delighted to sponsor the junior section of Seaford Striders for a second consecutive year.
It’s a great local club and they are doing their bit to get young people away from the lure of their digital devices and out in the fresh air.
Now we’re entering the colder months the junior Striders meet every Wednesday at the Downs Leisure Centre at 5.50pm for a 6pm start, finishing at 6.45 p.m.
We’re also lending our support to Seaford Striders’ efforts to get a Parkrun up and running in Seaford.
One of the great things about Seaford, aside from the coast and the South Downs, is the sense of community it has.
We’ve seen from the groups we sponsor and support what can be achieved by community minded people, working together for the greater good.
And it’s not just the sporting scene in Seaford that is thriving. The arts are also very well represented, and we act as a box office for several groups which present shows throughout the year.
Currently we are selling on behalf of Seaford Music Society who are presenting “Luba Tunnicliffe & Gamal Khamis” a concert with a programme of works for viola and piano. That takes place on Sunday 28th October 2018, at St Leonards Church, Seaford, starting at 3pm. Tickets £15 (students £5).
And later in the year “Only Remembered” a multi-media memorial of the end of WW1 will be presented by Seaford Choral Society. On Saturday 24th November 2018 at Seaford Baptist Church, Belgrave Road, Seaford. 7.30pm. Tickets £10 (children £5).
